Premier League: Chelsea Too Strong for Man U
Last weekend’s match between Chelsea and Man U was a battle of the top dogs in the Premier League and resulted in Chelsea now being the clear leader on the ladder by five points. They went in to the match as the slight favourites and in the end the final score was Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United. Captain John Terry scored the second half-goal in the 76th minute with a free kick from Frank Lampard. Man U came close on a couple of occasions but Chelsea defence proved too strong. Chelsea has now set a new club record of 11 straight home wins. Both Man U and Chelsea drew in the Champions League matches this week ahead of the game with each other. Manchester had to work hard to level the score with CSKA Moscow and fought back from a deficit of 3-1.
