Sportsbook bonuses
Most sportsbooks will offer you a sign-up and/or a reload bonus which can prove to be rather profitable. Other than the bonuses I describe here, also keep an eye out for other miscellaneous types of bonus like refer a friend or cashback bonuses.
Sign-up bonuses – Many sportsbooks are connected in some way to an online casino (just like 888sport.come which I reviewed last week) so if you also play at the casino, check whether you can claim the sign-up bonus at both the casino and the sportsbook. You might find that you can only claim it at one or the other.
Cashable bonuses – These are similar to cashable bonuses offered by casinos in that you cannot withdraw the bonus until you have fulfilled the wagering requirement. Wagering requirements are also known as playthrough requirements and are intended to prevent players from cashing out after accepting a bonus without even playing. Fortunately, you will find, however, that wagering requirements are lower for sportsbook (typically about 3 times) than casino bonuses (usually somewhere between 20 to 30 times). Since you usually need to wait sometimes days for a bet to complete, satisfying wagering requirements through sports betting can be painfully slow!
Sticky bonuses – These are a non-cashable bonus meaning that whilst they can be bet, they can’t actually be cashed out. When you make a withdrawal from your account, it will be deducted from the withdrawal total. Sportsbooks often offer a non-withdrawable free bet.
