Time for a change in Germany?

It looks like things could be about to change in Germany and for the better for those sport fans who would like to wager on their league and teams. The Olympic Sports Federation (OSF) has taken the step of calling upon the German government to legalize sports betting by repealing the German Interstate Gambling Treaty (2006). To have a greater impact, the OSF has joined forces with the Bundesliga (otherwise known as the country’s major football league).  Currently, German bettors do no have a choice of online betting agencies as only German states have the right to offer this service. This monopoly by state betting providers means a lack of competition and poor odds, limited range of services and lower quality product. In fact, Right2Bet reports that German punters who have no option but to bet with Lotto Bayern, are subjected to odds that are on average 34 percent worse than other private European operators!

So all German sports fans should pay close attention!
